Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions essential to organizational success. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a basic understanding of office operations, human resource initiatives and a working knowledge of HRIS systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in human resources management, talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration within a dynamic environment. This position will also be responsible for front desk reception duties.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet all guests and answer the corporate phone, direct calls to appropriate party.</li><li>Assist with talent acquisition processes to include recruiting, HR sourcing, and applicant tracking of all candidates.</li><li>Responsible for conducting new hire orientation and initial training programs.</li><li>Ensure that all new hire paperwork is made ready for orientation.</li><li>Run background checks and schedule pre-hire drug screens.</li><li>Assist in maintaining employee records.</li><li>Responsible for company mail-outs.</li><li>Typing job descriptions and creating forms on Canva, Word or other programs as needed.</li><li>Will assist in daily human resource tasks to support the department to be completed within a timely manner.</li></ul>*Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience or familiarity with human resources management functions including talent acquisition, benefits administration, and employee relations.</li><li>Knowledge of employment and labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation policies, and HR compliance standards helpful.</li><li>Proficiency with HRIS systems such as ADP.</li><li>Excellent communication skills&mdash;both written and verbal&mdash;and must handle sensitive information confidentially.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record-keeping.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.</li><li>Administrative experience needed to support HR functions. This position provides a vital role within our organization by supporting the development of a productive workforce through effective human resources practices.
