<div><div>Job Summary: The Training &amp; Development Specialist is responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering training programs that enhance employee skills, engagement, and career growth. This role works closely with business leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and trainers to assess training needs, implement learning initiatives, and measure program effectiveness. The Training Specialist plays a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organization.</div><div></div><div>
Key Responsibilities:</div><div></div><div>
Training Program Development &amp; Delivery:</div><ul><li>
Use advanced knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design to build effective training programs.</li><li>
Independently design and develop educational programs that require the integration of technical subject matter, learning science, and instructional strategy.</li><li>
Create training materials that connect business needs to learning outcomes using structured design methods.</li><li>
Design full learning programs that include multiple training sessions, follow-up activities, and assessments.</li><li>
Facilitate instructor-led training (ILT), virtual learning sessions, and blended learning programs.</li><li>
Support the development of e-learning modules and interactive learning experiences.</li><li>
Develop and update instructional materials, including presentations, curriculum blueprints, instructional plans, performance-based learning objectives, and job aids.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Needs Assessment &amp; Learning Strategy:</div><ul><li>
Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and recommend learning solutions.</li><li>
Work with department leaders to align training initiatives with business objectives.</li><li>
Support onboarding programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the company.</li><li>
Work with HR and business leaders to understand complex learning needs and design role-specific training.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Learning Management &amp; Administration:</div><ul><li>
Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to manage and track training enrollment, completion, and effectiveness.</li><li>
Maintain training records and generate reports on learning progress and impact.</li><li>
Ensure training compliance with industry regulations and company policies.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Evaluation &amp; Continuous Improvement:</div><ul><li>
Measure training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.</li><li>
Analyze learning data to improve programs and optimize learning outcomes.</li><li>
Stay current with industry best practices, learning technologies, and innovative training methods.</li><li>
Conduct complex task analyses and capability mapping to inform role-based curriculum design and certification programs.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Collaboration &amp; Employee Engagement:</div><ul><li>
Partner with managers, HR teams, and SMEs to develop targeted learning initiatives.</li><li>
Support leadership development programs and career progression initiatives.</li><li>
Promote a culture of learning by encouraging employees to engage in continuous development.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Required Qualifications:</div><div></div><div>
Education &amp; Experience:</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.</li><li>
2+ years of experience in learning &amp; development, corporate training, or instructional design.</li><li>
Experience in facilitating training sessions and creating engaging learning experiences.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Skills &amp; Competencies:</div><ul><li>
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.</li><li>
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.</li><li>
Strong organizational and project management skills.</li><li>
Ability to analyze learning data and drive improvements.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage learners and stakeholders.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Preferred Certifications:</div><ul><li>
ATD Certified Professional in Learning &amp; Performance (CPLP)</li><li>
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)</li><li>
Training Industry Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM</li></ul><div></div><div>
Safety Requirements:</div><ul><li>
Follows all departmental and company safety policies and programs.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Physical Requirements:</div><ul><li>
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.</li><li>
