Key responsibilities<ul><li>Preventive care: Conduct oral health exams, perform routine cleanings, apply fluoride treatments, and place sealants.</li><li>Patient and parent education: Teach children and their guardians about proper brushing, flossing, and nutrition. Counsel on habits like thumb-sucking.</li><li>Treatment: Diagnose and treat dental issues, including cavities, infections, and injuries.
