Pediatric Dentist

Key responsibilities

• Preventive care: Conduct oral health exams, perform routine cleanings, apply fluoride treatments, and place sealants.
• Patient and parent education: Teach children and their guardians about proper brushing, flossing, and nutrition. Counsel on habits like thumb-sucking.
• Treatment: Diagnose and treat dental issues, including cavities, infections, and injuries. Administer fillings and other restorative treatments.
• Diagnosis: Examine X-rays and oral structures to diagnose problems, including early signs of bite issues that may require orthodontic intervention.
• Behavioral management: Use creative problem-solving and communication skills to manage dental anxiety and make the experience positive for the child.
• Specialized care: Administer anesthesia or sedation when necessary and provide treatment for children with special needs.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and complete necessary referrals and paperwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,271.54 - ₹45,108.34 per month
