Job Summary Join our vibrant summer team as a Lead Camp Instructor at We Rock The Spectrum- GR! In this dynamic role, you will inspire and engage children through fun, educational, and inclusive activities designed to foster growth, confidence, and joy. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while developing your skills in childcare, education, and camp programming.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead engaging daily activities tailored to children&rsquo;s interests and developmental needs, including arts and crafts, sports, music, and sensory play</li><li>Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by supervising interactions and managing behavior effectively</li><li>Word along side a skilled team of behavioral experets</li><li>Implement inclusive strategies that support children with diverse learning styles and abilities</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized activity area and adhere to all safety protocols and health guidelines</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns that arise</li><li>Collaborate with team members to plan special events, themed days, and camp outings that enhance the overall experience</li><li>Support children in developing social skills, independence, and confidence through positive reinforcement and encouragement</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment</li><li>Experience in early childhood education or special education is required</li><li>Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children with varied needs</li><li>Ability to lead activities in classroom and recreational areas</li><li>First aid certification or willingness to obtain training prior to camp start date</li><li>Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members</li><li>Familiarity with tutoring or teaching methods that support childhood development and learning goals</li></ul>Camp Details<ul><li>Camp Begins June 8th- August 14th 2026</li><li>Camp Days: Monday, Wednesday, &amp; Fridays from 9am-4pm</li><li>AM Class: Ages 3-6 (9-12pm)</li><li>PM Class: Ages 7-10 (12-4pm)</li><li>Must be able to attend Open House Night: Friday May 29th from 5:30-7pm</li></ul>Embark on an inspiring summer journey where your energy fuels fun and learning!
