Join our vibrant summer team as a Lead Camp Instructor at We Rock The Spectrum- GR! Responsibilities

• Lead engaging daily activities tailored to children’s interests and developmental needs, including arts and crafts, sports, music, and sensory play
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by supervising interactions and managing behavior effectively
• Word along side a skilled team of behavioral experets
• Implement inclusive strategies that support children with diverse learning styles and abilities
• Maintain a clean, organized activity area and adhere to all safety protocols and health guidelines
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns that arise
• Collaborate with team members to plan special events, themed days, and camp outings that enhance the overall experience
• Support children in developing social skills, independence, and confidence through positive reinforcement and encouragement

Skills

• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
• Experience in early childhood education or special education is required
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children with varied needs
• Ability to lead activities in classroom and recreational areas
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain training prior to camp start date
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
• Familiarity with tutoring or teaching methods that support childhood development and learning goals

Camp Details

• Camp Begins June 8th- August 14th 2026
• Camp Days: Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays from 9am-4pm
• AM Class: Ages 3-6 (9-12pm)
• PM Class: Ages 7-10 (12-4pm)
• Must be able to attend Open House Night: Friday May 29th from 5:30-7pm
