Join us as a Produce Clerk!
We are looking for an energetic, community-oriented and experienced individual to work as a Produce Clerk at our Ambler location. This position is low-time with an anticipated 8-19 hours per week. Availability on Saturdays and evenings is required. If you have experience working in a team setting and a passion for great customer service, then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Include:<ul><li>
Receive product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy.</li><li>
Stock, rotate, and cull produce as necessary</li><li>
Maintaining back-stock areas according to department standards.</li><li>
Maintaining produce displays</li><li>
Assist other clerks as needed.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned by department head.</li><li>
Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations.</li><li>
Wears protective clothing as required for position.</li><li>
Understands and utilizes safe lifting procedures and proper step stools.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Availability on Saturdays and during the evenings.</li><li>
Commitment to the mission and goals of Weavers Way Co-op.</li><li>
Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus.</li><li>
Great attention to detail.</li><li>
Good communication and people skills.</li><li>
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>
The ability to remain standing for extended periods of time.</li><li>
