We are looking for an energetic, community-oriented and experienced individual to work as a Warehouse Staff Member at our Ambler and Warehouse locations. This position is part-time with an anticipated 20 hours per week, with shifts scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at 6 AM in Ambler. If you have experience working in a team setting, performing and ensuring efficient and effective warehouse, transportation, and logistics operations , then we want to hear from you

Responsibilities Include

• Completing the following pick-up and delivery runs via our smaller Isuzu truck on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

• Transporting Commissary products from Ambler to the Mt Airy and Germantown stores.
• Pallet pick-up at Restaurant Deport and our North Philadelphia warehouse for delivery at Ambler.
• Pallet deliveries at Germantown, Mt Airy (Fridays), and Chestnut Hill (Mondays).

• Observe all Weavers Way Co-op policies and procedures.
• Attend department and all-staff meetings, as scheduled.
• Promptly respond to communication from team members and management (emails, texts, phones, etc).
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A commitment to the mission and goals of Weavers Way Co-op.
• A valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• A commercial driver’s medical certificate.
• The ability drive a commercial truck.
• The ability to repeatedly lift and move items up to 60lbs.
• The ability to operate a pallet jack, lift gate, and other related equipment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in varying mediums (phone, email, text, in-person).
• The ability to multi-task, adapt quickly to changing conditions, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Be, or become upon hiring, a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op.
