In this role you will :

As a Financial Operations Specialist you will hold the primary objective of furnishing invaluable financial analysis and support to WebBeds' Senior Finance and Commercial Management Reporting to MEA Financial Controller and with a dotted line connection to the Global Credit Control and Credit Risk Director. The specific focus lies in providing insightful financial assistance concerning the AP and AR ledgers for the Group, thereby contributing to informed decision-making. Integral tasks involve ensuring the consistent treatment of AP and AR metrics across all Group ledgers, generating standardized reports, critically evaluating debt and creditor reports, and conducting value-add analysis to support management decisions. 
Key responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Understanding of day-to-day finance operations, specifically accounts payable and accounts receivable.
</li><li>Champion automation and digital transformation initiatives to reduce manual dependencies and improve reporting timelines.
</li><li>Ensure monthly, half-year, and annual operational finance closing and reports for senior leadership.
</li><li>Work closely with internal and external auditors to support annual audits and ensure IFRS compliance. Ensure internal controls are implemented and followed.
</li><li>Update ECL matrix as at half -year and year-end to ensure IFRS compliance and calculation of any other provisions related to O2C and P2P balances and processes.
</li><li>Propose O2C and P2P processes improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
</li><li>Generate reconciliations that bridge the gap between reported aged debtors and creditors figures with the Trial Balance and accounts, demonstrating a dedicated and systematic approach to reconciliation and reinforcing the value of accountability.
</li><li>Review DSO and DPO calculations for the company and align these metrics with locally sourced regional data, fostering a culture centered around analytics-driven decision-making and innovation.
</li><li>Offer insightful analysis across platforms, regions, destinations, and supply/sales channel categories, contributing to ongoing advancement and mitigating risk.
</li><li>Act as a point of contact for any queries with other finance teams, specifically with O2C and P2C teams, promoting open communication and collaboration.
</li><li>To be the liaison with WebBeds auditors and provide them the necessary information in a timely manner regarding Trade debtors and Trade creditors balances and its analysis, showcasing a commitment to compliance and professionalism. Support O2C and P2P in the external audits.
</li><li>Overseeing the Customers and Suppliers ORC process, accruals accounting procedure, P&amp;L analysis, payments, and accruals balance reconciliation, showcasing a diligent work ethic focused on attention to detail.
</li><li>Account for Reciprocals and MOR balance sheet reclassification, embodying compliance with accounting standards and showcasing attention to even the smallest mistakes.
</li><li>To be the coordinator and representative on various Accounting projects in collaboration with other teams like Digitalization, Automation etc.</li></ul>

How will you make an impact?

To ensure timely collection, validation, and quality control of supplier and customer invoices in compliance with Saudi VAT regulations. The role involves maintaining accurate documentation, supporting VAT filing processes, and ensuring adherence to ZATCA (Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority) requirements. 
Key elements to the role include, but not limited to:

Invoice Collection &amp; Verification
<ul><li>
Collect supplier and customer invoices in accordance with internal timelines and VAT filing schedules.
</li><li>Verify invoices for compliance with Saudi VAT law
</li><li>Ensure all mandatory VAT fields (VAT number, QR code, tax amount, etc.) are correctly included.
</li><li>Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve missing or incorrect invoices.
</li></ul>Quality Control
<ul><li>Conduct systematic checks on invoice data accuracy, ensuring correct VAT treatment, amounts, and classifications.
</li><li>Review invoice uploads to ERP or accounting systems for completeness and accuracy.
</li><li>Identify and escalate discrepancies or risks of non-compliance.

Support monthly and quarterly VAT returns by ensuring all invoices are validated and properly recorded.

In this role you will: 

The global Learning and Skills Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide learning strategies that build future-ready capabilities across regions. This role drives innovation in learning, ensures consistency in global standards, and fosters a culture of continuous development through strategic partnerships, data-driven insights, and learning technologies.

As Learning and Skills Manager, you will lead the implementation of our learning and skills strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and adapting to evolving business needs. You will work closely with senior leadership and department heads to align initiatives with business objective. You will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of programmes to address skills gaps and training needs.

You will partner with Talent Management to design and deliver leadership development supporting the development WebBed&rsquo;s leaders and succession pipeline. You will be a key member of the change management team responsible for the deployment of our new LMS, Workday. You will ensure continuous improvement in learning initiatives and future skills building.

Additionally, you will manage learning and skills budget, external vendors and an internal learning community and ensure compliance with training requirements are met. A key part of your role will be promoting a culture of adaptability and continuous learning.
