<div><p>This position is responsible for information technology (IT) support for department operations.</p></div>
<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Major Duties</b></h2></div>
<p></p><div><ul><li>Interviews computer users to determine software requirements; assesses needs, develops new systems, and maintains existing programs.</li><li>
Designs online computer screens, reports, and other required computer outputs.</li><li>
Diagnoses and resolves problems; performs routine maintenance of existing programs.</li><li>
Installs system enhancements.</li><li>
Verifies the integrity of data.</li><li>
Assists with the installation of new computer applications.</li><li>
Writes interface programs as needed.</li><li>
Outlines and documents requirements with appropriate flowcharts.</li><li>
Designs conversion systems; writes program logic to convert data files to match new system requirements.</li><li>
Designs, develops, and writes new computer programs and enhances existing systems to better serve department needs.</li><li>
Processes e-filings for new and existing cases.</li><li>
Assists in processing jurors for jury duty.</li><li>
Requests quotes for computers, scanners, software licenses, and printers.</li><li>
Produces regular and special reports.</li><li>
Performs any other duties as assigned.</li></ul><br>

Knowledge of one or more object-oriented programming languages.</li><li>
Knowledge of the storage and computing capacity of computers.</li><li>
Knowledge of computer platforms, network structure, and database structure.</li><li>
Knowledge of business processes.</li><li>
Knowledge of the preparation and interpretation of statistical, technical, and narrative reports.</li><li>
Skill in the analysis of problems and the development and implementation of solutions.</li><li>
Skill in the preparation of clear and precise reports.</li><li>
Skill in the installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade of computer hardware and software systems.</li><li>
Skill in oral and written communication.</li><li>
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in the English language and orally in the Spanish language.</li></ul></div><p></p>
<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></h2></div>
<p></p><div><ul><li>Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in a course of study related to the occupational field.</li><li>
Must have at least one ( 1 ) year of work experience in the information technology field.</li><li>
Must be able to type 50 wpm.</li></ul></div><p></p>

The work consists of varied systems analysis duties. The variety of end-user needs contributes to the complexity of the position.</li><li>
