We are seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Batching Plant Supervisor to oversee and manage all operations of our concrete batching plants for a LARGE SCALE INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT in DUBAI, UAE. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of progressive experience, particularly with high-volume production on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality concrete that meets all project specifications, optimizing plant efficiency, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards. <ul><li>Supervise and manage the daily operations of the concrete batching plant, including raw material handling, batching, mixing, and loading.</li><li>Develop and implement daily and weekly production schedules to meet the project&#x27;s concrete delivery requirements.</li><li>Monitor and adjust batching operations in real-time to ensure the concrete mix designs adhere precisely to specified quality and strength standards (e.g., cube testing, slump tests).</li><li>Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team, material suppliers, and site logistics to ensure a seamless and efficient supply chain.</li><li>Oversee the dispatch and tracking of concrete deliveries (truck-mixers) to various locations on the project site.</li><li>Manage the preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules for all plant equipment (mixers, conveyors, silos, control panels, etc.).</li><li>Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions quickly to minimize downtime and maintain production targets.</li><li>Monitor and manage inventory of all raw materials, including cement, aggregates, water, and chemical admixtures, ensuring adequate stock levels.</li><li>Implement procedures to optimize plant performance, reduce waste, and manage energy consumption.</li><li>Enforce rigorous Quality Control (QC) protocols in coordination with the QC department to ensure all concrete is batched and mixed according to approved specifications.</li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed batch records, logbooks, and production reports for auditing and compliance purposes.</li><li>Conduct daily safety briefings (Toolbox Talks) and ensure all plant operations strictly comply with the company&#x27;s HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and UAE regulations.</li><li>Train and mentor plant operators and staff on best practices, quality control, and safety procedures.</li></ul>

Batching Plant Supervisor

<ul><li>Supervise and lead the daily on-site installation, testing, and commissioning activities of PLC, SCADA, BMS (Building Management System) interfaces, field instrumentation, control panels, wiring, and associated low voltage electrical systems.</li><li>Manage, coordinate, and monitor the performance of Electrical/Instrumentation subcontractors to ensure work quality and adherence to the project schedule.</li><li>Conduct regular site walkdowns and inspections to verify that installation methods comply with approved Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and project drawings.</li><li>Ensure the proper handling, storage, and installation of control system equipment and materials.</li><li>Review and verify PLC/SCADA control logic, network architecture, and programming against design specifications and functional descriptions.</li><li>Oversee the execution of loop checks, functional tests, I/O verification, and system integration testing.</li><li>Witness and approve Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for control panels and automation equipment.</li><li>Provide first-line technical troubleshooting and problem-solving support for installation and commissioning issues related to PLC hardware and software.</li><li>Ensure that all installations meet the required quality standards and contractual specifications.</li><li>Coordinate with the QA/QC team to raise and close out Inspection Requests (IRs) for all control system work.</li><li>Maintain and manage site documentation, including red-line drawings for "As-Built" status, test records, calibration certificates, and progress logs.</li><li>Review and comment on technical submittals, shop drawings, and O&M (Operation and Maintenance) manuals related to control systems.</li><li>Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring all personnel adhere to the Main Contractor&#x27;s HSE policies and procedures.</li><li>Conduct daily toolbox talks, pre-task planning, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for all PLC/Control system work activities.</li><li>Ensure strict compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, working-at-height regulations, and other critical safety protocols.</li><li>Promptly report and investigate all incidents, near-misses, and safety non-compliances.</li><li>Liaise and coordinate work interfaces with other trades (Mechanical, HVAC, Civil, etc.) to ensure a smooth workflow and avoid conflicts.</li><li>Collaborate with the Planning team to develop and monitor the detailed weekly and monthly work schedules for the electrical control package.</li><li>Communicate project progress, constraints, and resource requirements effectively to the Project Management team.</li></ul>
