Whether managing a high-stakes tax appeal or advising on estate planning, we take pride in offering peace of mind through diligent representation.Position Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct legal research and draft clear, well-reasoned legal documents</li><li>Represent clients in civil litigation, family law, and related practice areas</li><li>Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations</li><li>Provide sound legal advice and maintain effective client communication</li><li>Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies</li><li>Manage case files from intake through resolution</li><li>Monitor legal and regulatory developments to ensure compliance and effectiveness</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school</li><li>Active California Bar license required (applicants awaiting bar results will not be considered)</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of experience practicing law in a firm or legal setting</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge or experience in civil litigation and/or family law</li><li>Experience with estate planning and/or tax law is a plus</li><li>Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail, including grammar and formatting</li><li>Strong ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks</li><li>Proficient negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.</li><li>A professional, proactive approach to client service</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to remain seated for extended periods while using a computer</li><li>Occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs</li><li>Ability to bend, reach, and perform general office tasks</li><li>Willingness to travel locally as required for court appearances or meetings</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively under pressure</li></ul>Work Location<ul><li>In-person position at our Walnut Creek, CA office</li><li>Candidates must be local or willing to relocate prior to the start date</li></ul>Equal Employment OpportunityWeed Law Group, PC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
