This is a full-time, day shift job with benefits based in Weldon, NC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with structural steel, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, a strong focus on quality and safety, and be a team player.Responsibilities and Qualifications:<ul><li>2+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication and welding (MIG, Stick)</li><li>Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols</li><li>Ability to read, write legibly, perform mathematical calculations, accurately use tape measure</li><li>Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, measuring, and layout</li><li>Work independently to set up and operate welding machine</li><li>Ability to perform different welds in various positions that meet weld specifications</li><li>Must be able to pass written and onsite welding tests</li><li>Understand and use fillet weld gages properly</li><li>Proficiency with hand and power tools, including cutting torches and grinders</li><li>Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts preferred</li><li>Strong commitment to teamwork and safety</li><li>Following company safety policies and procedures</li><li>Maintain clean and safe work area</li><li>Be punctual and present for full shift, working productively and efficiently</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $27.99 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
