Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator / Welder to join our team.
This is a full-time, day shift job with benefits based in Weldon, NC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with structural steel, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, a strong focus on quality and safety, and be a team player.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication and welding (MIG, Stick)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
• Ability to read, write legibly, perform mathematical calculations, accurately use tape measure
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, measuring, and layout
• Work independently to set up and operate welding machine
• Ability to perform different welds in various positions that meet weld specifications
• Must be able to pass written and onsite welding tests
• Understand and use fillet weld gages properly
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including cutting torches and grinders
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts preferred
• Strong commitment to teamwork and safety
• Following company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Be punctual and present for full shift, working productively and efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.99 per hour
