Position SummaryTheInside Sales Account Coordinator is the central in-house support role for the specialty pharmacy&rsquo;s field Sales Representatives. This position ensures seamless communication between pharmacy operations and the field, helping reps manage prescriber relationships, resolve prescription issues, and maintain account satisfaction. The coordinator plays a key role in supporting the prescription life cycle, prioritizing patient care, and strengthening provider partnerships.Core Responsibilities1. Sales Representative Support<ul><li>Act as the day-to-day, in-house point of contact for all Sales Representatives.</li><li>Respond to rep questions regarding prescription status, prior authorization updates, insurance responses, copay assistance, delivery timing, and other operational needs.</li><li>Communicate daily workflow updates, new processes, medication additions/changes, and any pharmacy-level announcements.</li><li>Coordinate internal responses when reps escalate provider concerns or account issues.</li></ul>2. Liaison Between Reps &amp; Pharmacy Departments<ul><li>Serve as the communication bridge between reps and the Intake, Prior Authorization, Billing, Fulfillment, and Patient Support teams.</li><li>Track escalated prescriptions and ensure reps receive real-time updates for provider offices.</li><li>Monitor high-priority cases (STAT requests, delays, rejections) and notify reps promptly.</li><li>Ensure accurate routing of provider requests, clarifications, and documentation.</li></ul>3. Provider Account Support<ul><li>Assist reps in supporting provider offices by preparing referral packs, forms, PA checklists, and patient enrollment documents.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date account profiles, office preferences, contact information, and support needs.</li><li>Track office satisfaction trends and alert sales leadership to opportunities or concerns.</li><li>Help coordinate lunches, in-services, and provider education events as directed by reps.</li></ul>4. Prescription Lifecycle Tracking<ul><li>Monitor referral progress from intake to delivery and keep reps informed at each major stage.</li><li>Provide reps with daily/weekly reports on pending prescriptions, PA status, missing information, and insurance outcomes.</li><li>Support proactive communication to provider offices to prevent delays in therapy initiation.</li></ul>5. Reporting, Data Management &amp; CRM Support<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM entries for accounts, activities, and communication logs.</li><li>Generate scheduled reports for the sales team, including referral volume, turnaround times, and key performance trends.</li><li>Support metrics tracking, including rep activity, account engagement, and referral source performance.</li></ul>6. Sales Enablement &amp; Training<ul><li>Ensure reps have the latest referral forms, instructional materials, specialty medication lists, and branded marketing collateral.</li><li>Assist with onboarding new reps, providing training on pharmacy workflows, CRM use, and communication protocols.</li><li>Coordinate with leadership to implement new tools, scripts, or educational materials.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience in healthcare, pharmacy operations, or medical sales support preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding (or willingness to learn) of the specialty prescription workflow (intake &rarr; PA &rarr; billing &rarr; fulfillment &rarr; delivery).</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple reps and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.</li><li>Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace.</li><li>Spanish language</li></ul>Ideal Candidate Attributes<ul><li>Proactive and highly responsive communicator</li><li>Patient-focused mindset with strong customer service skills</li><li>Thrives in a collaborative environment between pharmacy teams and field teams</li><li>Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts</li><li>Understands (or can quickly learn) specialty medications, insurance nuances, and prescriber workflows</li></ul>Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 30 &ndash; 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Management: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Sales: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Preferred)</li><li>English (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Westbury, NY 11590 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
