Position: Supply Chain Coordinator, Composites

Status: Regular Full Time, 40 hours a week

Department: Supply Chain

Location: Mumbai, India

Reports to: Director, Global Supply Chain 


ABOUT THE ROLE: 


The FRP Supply Chain Coordinator will support strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier management for all our FRP manufacturers. This role is responsible for analyzing procurement data, keeping accurate and up to date records, managing data to evaluate supplier performance, and supporting sourcing decisions that align with SCM business goals. 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
<ul>
<li>
Monitor daily supplier performance and communicate potential delays proactively to project managers and other stakeholders</li>
</ul><ul><li>Analyze all issues relating to manufacturing delays to avoid re-occurrence.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Track and follow up on internal deliverables for FRP production</li>
</ul><ul><li>Manage the FRP PO Tracker communication weekly with all our FRP vendors</li>
<li>Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Support contract negotiations by providing data-driven insights and cost analysis.</li>
<li>Analyze supply chain data and generate reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.</li>
<li>Analyze spend data to uncover cost-saving opportunities and support strategic sourcing initiatives.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Work in collaboration with project buyers and Global Sourcing Lead to address and close any outstanding NCRs.</li>
<li>Maintain current approved pricing for all FRP suppliers in Kubaru</li>
</ul><ul><li>Run &amp; analyze historical production data on an as needed basis.</li>
<li>Update production history in Kubaru for FRP suppliers that provide their data by report</li>
<li>Provide Landed Cost Analysis for all projects</li>
<li>Maintain Mikomi data to ensure forecasting accuracy</li>
<li>Release MFG BOMs through Slidedata</li></ul> 


QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: 
<ul>
<li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management. In some cases, a diploma or associate degree with relevant experience may be acceptable.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience in Supply Chain</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation abilities.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Excellent time management abilities.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Expert in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools</li>
</ul><ul><li>Must be legally eligible to work in Canada</li></ul>

WhiteWater West is seeking a Project Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Mumbai, India! 
Position: Project Buyer

Shift: Evening/ Night Shift, 40 hours 
Department: Supply Chain 
Location: Andheri, Mumbai, India 
Reports to: Manager, Purchasing 
 
Purpose: 
In this position, you will be responsible for the purchase of goods and services to support global projects on behalf of Whitewater&rsquo;s Performance Services business unit. Performance Services is responsible for all Whitewater customers&rsquo; post commissioning. This means they are responsible for providing parts, services, refurbishments, and expansions to our existing customers. This is a key role within a rapidly growing business unit that requires an energetic self-starter to ensure that goods and services are purchased at the best overall value on time and meets the quality specifications. You will be responsible for purchasing, issuing request for proposals, and negotiating prices. 
Essential Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>
Place purchase orders with approved suppliers in accordance with agreements</li>
<li>Support and execute best practices in accordance with the sourcing and purchasing strategy for selecting and managing providers for all Whitewater West Industries business units</li>
<li>Purchase components, sub-contracted services and finished products to meet the customer's quality, service and value expectations</li>
<li>Evaluate and manage existing and potential suppliers based on the principles of Total Cost of Ownership</li>
<li>Develop cost saving initiatives in accordance with Strategic Purchasing Plan</li>
<li>Monitor progress of orders and expedites critical orders</li>
<li>Monitor and reject non-compliant requisitions</li>
<li>Resolve Invoice discrepancies</li>
<li>Make continuous improvements in costs, lead times and inventory control</li>
<li>Help develop and implement purchasing systems, procedures and strategies</li>
<li>Reconcile material non-conformances</li>
<li>Assist with the development and deployment of a supplier performance matrix incorporating the fundamentals of price, delivery, quality, capability, reliability and other performance attributes</li>
<li>Support initiation of offshore sourcing programs, where applicable by identifying, sourcing and developing global supply partners</li>
<li>Assess and adjust shipping methods to reduce costs. Negotiate rates with carriers.</li>
<li>Identify and implement the technologies required to support the global procurement strategy</li></ul> 


Qualifications &amp; Experience: 
<ul>
<li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business Administration, or equivalent knowledge/experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain. Supply Chain designation is preferred.</li>
<li>5-8 years experience in Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management required</li>
<li>Previous experience in ERP is a must</li></ul> 


Competencies, Skills &amp; Abilities: 
<ul>
<li>
Knowledge of import/export processes is an asset</li>
<li>Exceptional ability to listen with excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Technical and or logistics background a plus</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required.</li>
