This is a client facing role that requires strong communication skills, an ownership mindset, and the ability to lead engagements from initial cleanup through ongoing financial management.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead accounting cleanup projects across multiple clients by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable improvements</li><li>Meet with clients to review financials, provide insights, and address questions</li><li>Scope projects, estimate timelines, and manage execution through completion</li><li>Oversee and develop bookkeeping team members across both cleanup and ongoing workflows</li><li>Maintain well organized, accurate accounting records and processes across all engagements</li><li>Manage payroll processing, payroll tax setup, and sales tax compliance</li><li>Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions</li><li>Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain current and reliable financial data</li><li>Prepare and review financial statements and related reports</li></ul>What Energizes You<ul><li>Working across a variety of clients and creating clarity in their financials</li><li>Using technology to improve accounting systems and processes</li><li>Contributing to the success and evolution of a growing firm</li><li>Mentoring others and building strong internal practices</li><li>Approaching accounting challenges with thoughtfulness and precision</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting</li><li>5 or more years of accounting experience, preferably in a firm or multi client environment</li><li>Proven experience leading cleanup projects, including scoping and timeline estimation</li><li>Experience with payroll processing and sales tax compliance</li><li>Strong understanding of accrual accounting</li><li>Experience providing controllership level support, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight</li><li>Exposure to fractional or partial CFO responsibilities</li><li>Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities</li><li>Strong client communication skills</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>CPA or EA designation</li><li>Experience with tools such as Keeper</li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills</li><li>High attention to detail</li><li>Ability to balance hands on execution with strategic thinking</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Fully remote, flexible work environment</li><li>Opportunity to work with diverse professional service and clients</li><li>Collaborative and supportive team culture</li><li>Meaningful role within a growing boutique firm</li><li>Competitive compensation based on experience</li></ul>If you are dependable, technically strong, client focused, and excited about leveraging technology to elevate accounting services, we would love to hear from you.Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>1.
