Come join our team!Main Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Responsible for the repairs of all vehicles to pre-collision condition.</li><li>Inspects equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.</li><li>Review each repair order/work order and estimators notes to understand the repairs needed prior to beginning work.</li><li>Diagnose and repair trailers including preventative maintenance, inspections, repair to air and hydraulic brakes, tires and electrical.</li><li>Knowledge in adjusting and replacing brakes, fabrication, suspension, alignment and basic knowledge of air systems is a plus.</li><li>The position requires heavy lifting, attention to detail, and good communication skills for interaction with internal customers.</li><li>Basic metal fabrication ability.</li><li>Ability to perform similar repairs on various types and brands of the same components</li><li>Required to follow all company policies and procedures pertaining to, safety, conduct, attendance, and cleanliness.</li></ul>Experience Required<ul><li>One year of semi-trailer repair or heavy equipment body repair.</li><li>Must have a minimum of basic hand tools.</li><li>Must be able to work overtime when needed</li><li>Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50lbs. (assistance with heavier items will be provided.)</li><li>Ability to work from a platform up to 15 feet high.</li><li>Must be able to work in all types of environments including, heat, cold</li><li>Applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.</li></ul>Experience Preferred<ul><li>Experience in aluminum and steel welding</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyExperience:<ul><li>Body repair: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Omaha, NE 68138 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
