Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists to deliver comprehensive oral health services while educating patients on preventive care and maintaining accurate medical records.Duties<ul><li>Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, utilizing aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.</li><li>Assess patients' oral health by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.</li><li>Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as part of preventive care.</li><li>Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.</li><li>Maintain infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination in the clinical environment.</li><li>Document patient care activities accurately in medical records, adhering to confidentiality standards.</li></ul>Experience Candidates must have a current license to practice dental hygiene in Alabama. Familiarity with general dentistry is a plus, as is experience in assisting during dental procedures.
