Role:<ul><li>
Talent Engagement &amp; Retention<ul><li>
Coordinate the full cycle of campus and professional recruitment, engaging with students, faculty, career centers, and relevant organizations.</li><li>
Attend and organize recruiting events, including career fairs (in-person &amp; virtual), networking sessions, interviews, and resume workshops.</li><li>
Source candidates from targeted universities and digital platforms (LinkedIn, Handshake, job boards).</li><li>
Collaborate with leadership to design and implement strategies for talent engagement, retention, and professional development.</li><li>
Participate in talent review discussions and provide actionable insights for campus and professional hires.</li><li>
Partner with the marketing team to maintain and enhance the WVC brand across all recruitment materials and digital platforms.</li></ul></li><li>
HR Compliance &amp; Documentation:<ul><li>
Ensure all recruitment activities and processes comply with current labor laws and HR regulations.</li><li>
Maintain organized and accurate documentation of candidates, recruitment interactions, and compliance records.</li><li>
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of HR policies and procedures as it relates to compliance.</li><li>
Create content to uphold appropriate local, state and national industry compliance training measures.</li></ul></li><li>
Job Descriptions &amp; Onboarding:<ul><li>
Collaborate with internal departments to regularly review and update job descriptions to reflect evolving role requirements and market trends.</li><li>
Lead onboarding processes for interns and new hires, ensuring a seamless transition and compliance with all legal requirements.</li></ul></li><li>
Event &amp; Engagement Planning:<ul><li>
Plan and execute company events, parties, and volunteer initiatives to foster employee engagement and promote our organizational culture.</li></ul></li><li>
Labor Law Support:<ul><li>
Stay informed on federal, state, and local labor laws impacting recruitment and employment.</li><li>
Assist in updating policies and practices to maintain compliance and mitigate risk.</li></ul></li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
3+ years of HR and recruitment experience (campus and/or professional level), ideally within professional services, tax, or audit environments.</li><li>
Demonstrated HR compliance expertise and familiarity with labor laws (e.g., FLSA, ADA, EEOC).</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in presenting to large groups.</li><li>
Proven experience in event planning (company events, parties, volunteer initiatives).</li><li>
Advanced organizational, project management, and facilitation abilities.</li><li>
Ability to collaborate across all organizational levels and develop productive relationships.</li><li>
Initiative, proactive problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Willingness to travel for campus and recruiting events.</li></ul>
