With expertise in special requirements like automation, emergency shut-off valves, and cryogenic extensions, we strive to meet today's business challenges competitively.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, remote role for a Regional Sales Manager to oversee operations in the Permian Basin / Midland, TX area. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong client relationships, driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Regional Sales Manager will report to the Director of Sales and be responsible for the Permian Basin / West, TX region, securing new business growth efforts/opportunities related to products and services. The role requires a strategic thinker in order to implement strategic actions, a self-starter, strong negotiation skills, and a creative mindset.Responsibilities: <ul><li>Contribute significantly to the business development strategy to achieve the company&rsquo;s ambition of substantially growing market share and penetration in the region, with a strong focus on key account development.</li><li>Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with End users, EPCs, and Distributors</li><li>Provide accurate and timely forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.</li><li>Collaborate with the Williams customer service team on proposals and orders.</li><li>Work with the product management and development team to bring new products to market.</li><li>Monitor and report on market trends and competitors.</li><li>Conduct training for customers and distributor channel partners. (12+ per year)</li><li>Develop innovative sales strategies to increase sales within the assigned territory.</li><li>Ensure brand awareness within the assigned territory meets company expectations.</li><li>Learn and maintain extensive knowledge of the product line.</li><li>Communicate and transmit to the management team -- call reports, expense reports, progress reports and sales forecasts.</li><li>Provide quotations to customers within the assigned territory. (As required)</li><li>Help the Director of Sales with special projects and initiatives as requested as it pertains to the sales function.</li><li>Define the sales strategy and implement its execution.</li><li>Identify and develop strategic account plans.</li><li>Builds key business initiatives and plans in collaboration with sales, marketing, and product leaders to identify strategies targeting growth.</li><li>Presents business development reports to Senior Leadership.</li><li>Advises and consults with internal business partners on business development initiatives and plans.</li><li>Leads optimization efforts with customers to increase account penetration and gain new business.</li><li>Actively manage channel partners effectiveness, prospecting, closing, forecasting, and KPI&rsquo;s by using a metrics-based approach to report progress and highlight potential roadblocks with proposed mitigation strategies.</li><li>Maintain expert level of product and application knowledge regarding Williams Products and Services.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company approved databases</li><li>Drives and contributes to the department&rsquo;s continuous improvement of culture.</li><li>Other duties/special projects as required.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Oil &amp; Gas PVF Sales experience.</li><li>A deep understanding of business operations, financial analysis, and market dynamics is important.</li><li>Should be able to assess the financial viability of strategic initiatives and evaluate their impact on the organization's bottom line.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to effectively articulate complex ideas and strategies. Should be able to build relationships, influence decision-making, and drive alignment across different departments and levels of the organization.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills - Expresses thoughts clearly, both orally and in writing, using good grammar. Listens to understand input, feedback, and concerns. Provides complete information in an open, honest, and straightforward manner.
