Once built, this is meant to be self-sustaining.Community-Driven Animation Platform (Equity-Based)I&rsquo;m looking for one core partner to help build a community-driven animation website inspired by early-internet animation culture.This is not a traditional job posting.This is a 50/50 business partnership.The IdeaThe project is a platform where:<ul><li>Users upload short animated videos</li><li>Creators share, remix, and showcase animation</li><li>A connected content channel features the best user submissions</li><li>The platform can grow into monetization, merch, and creator tools over time</li></ul>The vibe is old-school internet creativity, rebuilt with modern tools.Animation Style &amp; InspirationThe original inspiration comes from the era when animations were created in Flash &mdash; fast, expressive, frame-by-frame, and accessible to anyone.The goal is to recreate that same creative experience using modern technology, similar in spirit to apps like FlipaClip:<ul><li>Frame-by-frame animation</li><li>Simple timelines</li><li>Low friction, creator-friendly tools</li><li>Focus on speed and personality over polish</li></ul>This isn&rsquo;t about high-end studio animation &mdash; it&rsquo;s about giving creators a modern version of what Flash used to be.Who I&rsquo;m Looking ForYou&rsquo;re someone who:<ul><li>Can design and build a modern website</li><li>Has experience with animation, motion, or interactive UI</li><li>Understands (or is excited by) user-generated content platforms</li><li>Enjoys creative freedom and ownership</li><li>Is comfortable choosing or shaping the tech stack</li><li>Wants to co-own something, not just be hired</li></ul>I want to be very upfront:I know that a large portion of the actual building depends on you, and I respect that.My RoleI&rsquo;m handling:<ul><li>Vision and direction</li><li>Brand and creative guidance</li><li>Business structure and decisions</li><li>Outreach, partnerships, and growth</li></ul>I am not a developer, and I&rsquo;m intentionally looking for someone who is.What You&rsquo;d Be Building<ul><li>The core website and user experience</li><li>The animation and visual language of the platform</li><li>User upload, viewing, and sharing flows</li><li>The technical foundation for future features</li><li>Tools that allow creators to animate easily</li></ul>You&rsquo;ll have real creative and technical authority, not just implementation tasks.What You Get<ul><li>50% ownership of the business</li><li>50% of all revenue</li><li>Equal decision-making power</li><li>Public credit as a co-founder</li><li>Long-term upside instead of short-term contract worI</li></ul>This is equity-based.
