This is not meant to feel like Work. This is going to be a fun venture. I want to work hard and achieve something. I’m being deliberately vague about the scope of the project to protect the business. I will describe the details in person. Once built, this is meant to be self-sustaining.

Community-Driven Animation Platform (Equity-Based)

I’m looking for one core partner to help build a community-driven animation website inspired by early-internet animation culture.

This is not a traditional job posting.

This is a 50/50 business partnership.

The Idea

The project is a platform where:

• Users upload short animated videos
• Creators share, remix, and showcase animation
• A connected content channel features the best user submissions
• The platform can grow into monetization, merch, and creator tools over time

The vibe is old-school internet creativity, rebuilt with modern tools.

Animation Style & Inspiration

The original inspiration comes from the era when animations were created in Flash — fast, expressive, frame-by-frame, and accessible to anyone.

The goal is to recreate that same creative experience using modern technology, similar in spirit to apps like FlipaClip:

• Frame-by-frame animation
• Simple timelines
• Low friction, creator-friendly tools
• Focus on speed and personality over polish

This isn’t about high-end studio animation — it’s about giving creators a modern version of what Flash used to be.

Who I’m Looking For

You’re someone who:

• Can design and build a modern website
• Has experience with animation, motion, or interactive UI
• Understands (or is excited by) user-generated content platforms
• Enjoys creative freedom and ownership
• Is comfortable choosing or shaping the tech stack
• Wants to co-own something, not just be hired

I want to be very upfront:

I know that a large portion of the actual building depends on you, and I respect that.

My Role

I’m handling:

• Vision and direction
• Brand and creative guidance
• Business structure and decisions
• Outreach, partnerships, and growth

I am not a developer, and I’m intentionally looking for someone who is.

What You’d Be Building

• The core website and user experience
• The animation and visual language of the platform
• User upload, viewing, and sharing flows
• The technical foundation for future features
• Tools that allow creators to animate easily

You’ll have real creative and technical authority, not just implementation tasks.
