Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Previous restaurant experience and strong customer service skills are highly valued in this role. This position offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment, providing memorable dining experiences for our guests.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast, Micros POS, or OpenTable</li><li>Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met</li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cash handling procedures</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and dining areas including bussing and sanitation duties</li><li>Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed</li><li>Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality environments</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively</li><li>Excellent time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours</li><li>Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales revenue</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures</li><li>Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately</li><li>Experience with food handling, food preparation, or kitchen support is a plus</li><li>Previous roles such as host/hostess or bussing can be advantageous</li><li>Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry</li></ul>This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about delivering outstanding service in a vibrant restaurant setting.
