Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Previous restaurant experience and strong customer service skills are highly valued in this role. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and dining areas including bussing and sanitation duties
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Excellent time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales revenue
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
• Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately
• Experience with food handling, food preparation, or kitchen support is a plus
• Previous roles such as host/hostess or bussing can be advantageous
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry
