Who are we looking for?
Wilson Farm is hiring a full-time, year-round Outdoor Plant Nursery/Yard Customer Service Associate to join our outdoor team! This hourly position starts at $18.00.
Primary Responsibilities for an Outdoor Plant Nursery/Yard Customer Service Associate<ul><li>
This is a physical job doing some of everything:</li><li>
Assisting customers in product selection</li><li>
Stocking/caring for seasonal plants as well as associated seasonal items, arranging displays</li></ul>
Experience/Qualifications needed<ul><li>
Knowledge of plants and their care a must</li><li>
Prior retail greenhouse/garden shop/landscaping experience is highly desirable</li><li>
Your experience is appreciated if you previously worked for Mahoney&rsquo;s, Russell&rsquo;s Garden Center, New England Nursery, or other garden center</li><li>
Reliable/punctual with a strong work ethic and friendly, outgoing personality</li></ul>
Work Schedule<ul><li>
Full-time is 5-6 days/week (45+ hours/week)</li><li>
Includes one or both weekend days</li><li>
Schedule may fluctuate according to business needs/season</li><li>
Holidays will likely require more hours. Lots of overtime to be had!</li></ul>
Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Standing/bending/reaching for periods of time; rain or shine</li><li>
Be able to lift/carry approximately 30+ lbs. &ndash; everything from plants and shrubs to seasonal plants, pumpkins in Fall, and Christmas trees and greens in Winter</li></ul>
