Who are we looking for?

Wilson Farm is hiring a full-time, year-round Outdoor Plant Nursery/Yard Customer Service Associate to join our outdoor team! This hourly position starts at $18.00.

Primary Responsibilities for an Outdoor Plant Nursery/Yard Customer Service Associate

• This is a physical job doing some of everything:
• Assisting customers in product selection
• Stocking/caring for seasonal plants as well as associated seasonal items, arranging displays

Experience/Qualifications needed

• Knowledge of plants and their care a must
• Prior retail greenhouse/garden shop/landscaping experience is highly desirable
• Your experience is appreciated if you previously worked for Mahoney’s, Russell’s Garden Center, New England Nursery, or other garden center
• Reliable/punctual with a strong work ethic and friendly, outgoing personality

Work Schedule

• Full-time is 5-6 days/week (45+ hours/week)
• Includes one or both weekend days
• Schedule may fluctuate according to business needs/season
• Holidays will likely require more hours. Lots of overtime to be had!

Physical Requirements

• Standing/bending/reaching for periods of time; rain or shine
• Be able to lift/carry approximately 30+ lbs. – everything from plants and shrubs to seasonal plants, pumpkins in Fall, and Christmas trees and greens in Winter
