Job Title: Compliance ManagerLocation: Chennai Industry: Garment Manufacturing Reports To: Senior Manager Experience: 10-15 years in Compliance in garment/textile industry Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Law, HR, or related fieldNeed a well knowledgeable and experienced Compliance Manager to oversee and ensure full adherence to labor laws, factory compliance, and buyer audit standards such as SLCP, SEDEX, BSCI, SA8000,GRS &amp; RCS, Oeko tex and other international codes of conduct. The candidate will be responsible for managing internal audits, implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), maintaining compliance documentation, and liaising with buyers, legal authorities, and consultants.Key Responsibilities: Legal &amp; Statutory Compliance:<ul><li>Ensure compliance with labor laws, factories act, industrial relations, and all statutory regulations.</li><li>Maintain and renew factory licenses, approvals, and legal documentation in a timely manner.</li><li>Monitor updates to labor legislation and ensure company policies are aligned.</li></ul>Social &amp; Buyer Compliance:<ul><li>Prepare for and coordinate social compliance audits (SLCP, SEDEX, BSCI, SA8000, etc.).</li><li>Conduct internal audits and factory assessments to identify gaps and risks.</li><li>Implement and follow up on CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action Plans) from buyer or third-party audits.</li><li>Ensure ethical labor practices, health and safety, working conditions, and documentation standards are met.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Record Keeping:<ul><li>Maintain updated compliance records including attendance, wages, ESI/PF, maternity, child labor, grievance mechanisms, etc.</li><li>Organize and update records for licenses, certificates, audit reports, inspection records, and risk assessments.</li><li>Prepare reports and documentation required by buyers, auditors, or legal authorities.</li></ul>Stakeholder Liaison:<ul><li>Coordinate with buyers, audit agencies, legal advisors, and external consultants for audits and legal matters.</li><li>Conduct awareness and training sessions for workers and staff on compliance-related topics.</li><li>Assist in developing and updating company compliance manuals and SOPs.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and international compliance standards.</li><li>Hands-on experience with SLCP, SEDEX, BSCI, SA8000,GRS &amp; RCS, Oeko tex, and other buyer audit protocols.</li><li>Strong documentation and record-keeping ability.</li><li>Ability to handle audits and ensure timely closure of NCs (Non-Conformities).</li><li>Good communication and coordination skills to interact with all levels.</li></ul>Preferred Experience:<ul><li>Experience in garment (Woven) export industry with direct handling of buyer audits.</li><li>Familiarity with audit platforms and compliance management systems.</li></ul>Work Conditions:<ul><li>Full-time, on-site position.</li><li>May require coordination across multiple factory locations and departments.</li><li>Involves regular interaction with auditors and buyers.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;50,000.00 - &#8377;60,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person

Compliance Manager

Job Description &ndash; CAD Incharge (Garment Industry)Position: CAD Incharge Department: Sampling / Pattern Making / Technical Industry: Garment Manufacturing (Woven )Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage the entire CAD department and ensure smooth workflow.</li><li>Create, modify, and grade patterns using CAD software (Optitex).</li><li>Develop accurate marker planning to achieve maximum fabric utilization.</li><li>Ensure pattern accuracy, measurements, and fit as per buyer tech packs.</li><li>Coordinate with sampling, merchandising, and production teams for pattern approvals.</li><li>Review buyer comments and update patterns accordingly.</li><li>Maintain pattern library, version control, and documentation.</li><li>Handle digitizing of patterns and ensure seamless transfer between systems.</li><li>Conduct pattern checking, sample fitting, and corrections before sending to bulk.</li><li>Train and guide CAD operators and junior pattern makers.</li><li>Ensure all CAD files are backed up and properly organized.</li><li>Work with the technical team to resolve fit issues and production challenges.</li><li>Support production with cutting markers and related technical requirements.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of pattern making &amp; garment construction.</li><li>Expertise in CAD software (Optitex).</li><li>Good understanding of fit, grading rules, and marker efficiency.</li><li>Ability to interpret buyer tech packs, spec sheets, and construction details.</li><li>Strong communication and coordination skills.</li><li>Accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.</li></ul>Experience Required:<ul><li>10+ years in CAD / Pattern Making (depending on job level).</li><li>Experience in woven garments.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Diploma / Degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Technology, Garment Technology, or Pattern Making preferred.</li><li>CAD software certification is an added advantage.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;40,000.00 - &#8377;60,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
