Overview Join our dynamic team as a Hybrid Bookkeeper/Customer Support specialist, where you'll play a vital role in managing financial records while delivering exceptional support to our clients. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, reconciling accounts, and assisting clients with their inquiries&mdash;all within a flexible hybrid work setting that promotes growth and engagement.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Quicken, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation to maintain precise financial records.</li><li>Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll transactions efficiently.</li><li>Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting to support financial integrity.</li><li>Assist clients with their questions related to billing, account status, or technical issues via phone or email, providing clear and professional support.</li><li>Support budgeting activities and contribute to financial report writing to aid strategic decision-making.</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation of all transactions, account reconciliations, and financial reports for audit readiness.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in corporate accounting or non-profit accounting environments with familiarity in public accounting practices and Stripe payment processor.</li><li>Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms; experience with GAAP is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles, journal entries, bank reconciliation processes, and account analysis.</li><li>Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation accurately while managing multiple tasks efficiently.</li><li>Excellent understanding of financial concepts including debits &amp; credits, general ledger management, and financial report writing.</li><li>Prior experience providing customer support within an accounting or financial services setting is preferred.
