We&rsquo;re looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and hands-on Assistant to join our children&rsquo;s studio team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with kids, has a creative spark, and enjoys supporting the magic of the creative process. This is not a traditional classroom&mdash;our space is a dynamic, hands-on environment where children explore art, design, science, and invention through open-ended experiences. The Assistant plays a key role in supporting facilitators, inspiring kids to experiment and problem-solve, and encouraging them to express themselves creatively. You&rsquo;ll help manage materials and inventories, as well as transitions from different spaces, ensuring that every child feels seen and supported.Key Responsibilities:Creative Exploration Support&middot; Assist lead facilitators in guiding children through hands-on, inquiry-based projects&middot; Encourage curiosity, experimentation, and independent thinking during activities&middot; Offer one-on-one support to children as they explore tools, materials, and creative challenges&middot; Ask open-ended questions to promote reflection and deeper engagementStudio Environment &amp; Materials Management&middot; Help prepare, set up, and reset workstations and project materials before and after sessions&middot; Keep tools and supplies organized, clean, and safely stored&middot; Prepare ingredients required for sensory play and other sessionsChild Engagement &amp; Wellbeing&middot; Build warm, supportive relationships with children that foster confidence and creativity&middot; Monitor group dynamics and provide gentle guidance to support cooperation and inclusion&middot; Stay attuned to each child&rsquo;s emotional and physical wellbeing and notify the lead facilitator as needed&middot; Carry out guided play sessions and brainstorm different themes to base play aroundTeam Collaboration&middot; Communicate actively with the Wonder Works team to identify ways of supporting daily flow of activities&middot; Bring ideas and insights to the team that help enhance learning experiences and studio cultureQualifications:<ul><li>Experience working with children in an educational, creative, or camp setting</li><li>Passion for hands-on, child-led learning and creative exploration</li><li>Comfortable with mess, flexibility, and a fast-paced environment</li><li>A team player who is observant, proactive, and patient</li><li>Familiarity with design thinking, STEM/STEAM education and crafting spaces</li><li>Artistic skills (drawing, building, coding, crafting, storytelling, etc.) are a big advantage</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From QAR3,000.00 per monthExperience:<ul><li>childcare: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English fluently (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Education qualifications (Preferred)</li></ul>
