We’re looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and hands-on Assistant to join our children’s studio team. The Assistant plays a key role in supporting facilitators, inspiring kids to experiment and problem-solve, and encouraging them to express themselves creatively. You’ll help manage materials and inventories, as well as transitions from different spaces, ensuring that every child feels seen and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Exploration Support

· Assist lead facilitators in guiding children through hands-on, inquiry-based projects

· Encourage curiosity, experimentation, and independent thinking during activities

· Offer one-on-one support to children as they explore tools, materials, and creative challenges

· Ask open-ended questions to promote reflection and deeper engagement

Studio Environment & Materials Management

· Help prepare, set up, and reset workstations and project materials before and after sessions

· Keep tools and supplies organized, clean, and safely stored

· Prepare ingredients required for sensory play and other sessions

Child Engagement & Wellbeing

· Build warm, supportive relationships with children that foster confidence and creativity

· Monitor group dynamics and provide gentle guidance to support cooperation and inclusion

· Stay attuned to each child’s emotional and physical wellbeing and notify the lead facilitator as needed

· Carry out guided play sessions and brainstorm different themes to base play around

Team Collaboration

· Communicate actively with the Wonder Works team to identify ways of supporting daily flow of activities

· Bring ideas and insights to the team that help enhance learning experiences and studio culture
