Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization&rsquo;s financial health. Your expertise will help drive accurate reporting, streamline accounting processes, and uphold the integrity of our financial data. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and proactive problem-solving are valued.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining meticulous records.</li><li>Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and assist with internal and external audits.</li><li>Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to record transactions and generate reports.</li><li>Conduct payroll management tasks using systems like ADP, Paychex, Kronos, or UltiPro, including payroll processing and tax compliance.</li><li>Support governmental and non-profit accounting functions by adhering to specific reporting requirements and regulations.</li><li>Assist with budget preparation, financial analysis, and account analysis to support strategic decision-making.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in corporate accounting or governmental accounting environments with a strong understanding of financial concepts.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Singlepoint</li><li>Knowledge of GAAP standards and SOX compliance procedures for internal controls.</li><li>Familiarity with payroll management systems like ADP or Paychex along with payroll processing experience.</li><li>Strong data entry skills including double entry bookkeeping, 10 key typing, and account reconciliation techniques.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation accurately.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive financial data with integrity while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.</li><li>Effective communication skills combined with a solid foundation in financial software tools such as UltiPro, Kronos, or Ceridian for seamless operations.
