Overview HR Generalist (Employee-Owner)Location: Tucson, AZ (On-site) &bull; Employment: Full-time &bull; Reports to: CEOFire &amp; Ice Holdings is an employee-owned company (ESOP) operating diverse food-service businesses. We&rsquo;re looking for an HR Generalist who is hands-on across the HR spectrum&mdash;someone who can recruit great teammates, administer benefits, run training campaigns and advise managers on real-world workplace situations. You don&rsquo;t need to be an expert in everything on day one&mdash;if you bring solid fundamentals, integrity and curiosity, we&rsquo;ll support your growth.What you&rsquo;ll do&middot; Full life-cycle recruiting: Source, screen, schedule, interview, coordinate offers and onboard across hourly and salaried roles.&middot; Benefits administration: Support enrollments/changes, vendor coordination, employee education and issue resolution; maintain accurate records.&middot; ESOP support: Help communicate the value of employee-ownership and assist with annual processes in coordination with our plan administrator (prior ESOP experience is a plus).&middot; Training &amp; education campaigns: Build and deliver compliance and role-specific trainings; track participation; iterate based on feedback.&middot; Manager advisement: Coach leaders on documentation, performance conversations, corrective action, investigations and conflict resolution; escalate when needed.&middot; HR operations &amp; compliance: Handbook/policy updates, and required postings; prepare reports and metrics.&middot; Employee relations &amp; engagement: Be a trusted, confidential resource and help foster a fair, inclusive and safety-minded workplace.What you&rsquo;ll bring&middot; 2&ndash;5+ years of progressively responsible HR experience (or equivalent combination of experience/education).&middot; Proven experience with full life-cycle recruitment and exposure to benefits administration.&middot; Working knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, EEO, ADA, FMLA; OSHA basics).&middot; Comfortable with HRIS/ATS tools and spreadsheets; strong attention to detail and documentation.&middot; Excellent judgment, discretion, communication and follow-through.&middot; Growth mindset: willingness to learn new domains and take on projects outside your comfort zone.Nice to have&middot; ESOP experience (participant education, statements, eligibility, distributions).&middot; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP (or working toward certification).&middot; Experience supporting multi-site, seasonal, or field-based workforces.What we offer&middot; Employee ownership through our ESOP.&middot; Base salary: $65,000&ndash;$75,000, depending on experience.&middot; Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.&middot; Professional development opportunities and meaningful impact across our businesses.&middot;How to apply: Send your resume (and a brief note about why you&rsquo;re a fit) to [careers@yourcompany.com] with subject line &ldquo;HR Generalist &ndash; Your Name.&rdquo; Fire &amp; Ice Holdings is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
