Candidates must currently be in the UAE (Applicants with limited UAE experience are welcome if they have solid background &amp; experience in other countries)Education: CA, ACCA, CMA qualified candidates Experience: Minimum 5&ndash;8 years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or trading industry. (Min 3 years in a Managerial role)Key Responsibilities&middot; Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.&middot; Prepare accurate financial statements (P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and management reports. (monthly, quarterly &amp; annually)&middot; Ensure compliance with IFRS.&middot; Monitor and analyze product costing and margins.&middot; Work closely with the warehouse and procurement teams to control inventory and prevent losses.&middot; Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.&middot; Manage company cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.&middot; Forecast payments and receivables to maintain working capital efficiency.&middot; Coordinate with banks regarding opening new account&rsquo;s or updating company information.&middot; Preparing annual budgets and forecasts.&middot; Monitor actual performance against budgets and highlight variances.&middot; Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other government regulations.&middot; Communicating, support and provide all requirements to external and internal auditors.&middot; Supervise and guide the accounting team.&middot; Ensure timely closing of accounts and review their work for accuracy.&middot; Advise management on cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities.<ul><li>Prepare P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.</li></ul>Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
