Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Print Shop Manager to oversee our printing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various printing techniques, including screen printing and flexo press, along with expertise in prepress processes and color management. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure high-quality production while maintaining efficiency and safety standards.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage day-to-day operations of the print shop, ensuring timely production and delivery of print jobs.</li><li>Supervise and train staff on printing techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.</li><li>Oversee prepress processes, including file preparation, color management, and quality control.</li><li>Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure layout design meets client specifications.</li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment, including CNC machines and flexo presses.</li><li>Implement quality control measures to uphold high standards in print advertising and product output.</li><li>Coordinate inventory management for materials and supplies needed for production.</li><li>Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in screen printing, flexo press operation, or similar manufacturing environments.</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design tasks related to print production.</li><li>Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and color management principles.</li><li>Experience with quality control processes in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.</li><li>Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
