Print Shop Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Print Shop Manager to oversee our printing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various printing techniques, including screen printing and flexo press, along with expertise in prepress processes and color management. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure high-quality production while maintaining efficiency and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the print shop, ensuring timely production and delivery of print jobs.
• Supervise and train staff on printing techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Oversee prepress processes, including file preparation, color management, and quality control.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure layout design meets client specifications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment, including CNC machines and flexo presses.
• Implement quality control measures to uphold high standards in print advertising and product output.
• Coordinate inventory management for materials and supplies needed for production.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.

Experience

• Proven experience in screen printing, flexo press operation, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design tasks related to print production.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and color management principles.
• Experience with quality control processes in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,680.22 - $80,000.00 per year
