Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role is perfect for individuals with strong communication skills and a background in retail sales, grocery store operations, or customer service. Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse customer needs.Duties<ul><li>Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately and quickly</li><li>Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience</li><li>Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and responsibility</li><li>Assist with product demos and upselling to enhance sales opportunities</li><li>Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented</li><li>Conduct inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment as needed</li><li>Promote store promotions and special offers to customers to increase sales</li><li>Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming</li><li>Provide friendly phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking inquiries</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous cashiering or retail sales experience</li><li>Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively</li><li>Ability to perform cashier duties accurately under pressure during busy hours</li><li>Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles or team support responsibilities</li><li>Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base</li><li>Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor at all times</li><li>Ability to work well in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail</li></ul>Pay: From $14.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
