We are seeking a reliable Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee our daily financial operations and keep our office running smoothly. You will be the primary person responsible for accurate financial record-keeping (AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations) while also managing general administrative tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping: Manage all daily financial entries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations using software like QuickBooks.Payroll: Process employee wages, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions accurately and on time.Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, such as P&amp;L and balance sheets, for management review.Office Management: Oversee general administrative duties, including vendor relationships, office supplies, and maintaining filing systems.Compliance: Ensure all financial actions comply with local and federal regulations and assist with year-end tax preparation.RequirementsExperience: Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in bookkeeping and office management.Software: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational ability, and clear communication skills.Education: Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.Pay: $25.52 - $30.53 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hagerstown, MD 21740
