Job Description:A growing professional services organization is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile software development initiatives. This role is responsible for guiding cross-functional teams in Agile best practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring effective collaboration between stakeholders and development teams.The Scrum Master will play a key role in promoting continuous improvement, removing obstacles, and helping teams deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment. This position requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and experience working within structured development lifecycles.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives</li><li>Coach teams on Agile methodologies and ensure adherence to Scrum principles</li><li>Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, and user story development</li><li>Identify and remove impediments to team progress</li><li>Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment</li><li>Utilize tools such as JIRA and Confluence to track progress and maintain documentation</li><li>Ensure alignment with software development lifecycle processes and evolving requirements</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master</li><li>Active TS/SCI security clearance</li><li>Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification</li><li>Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and software development lifecycle</li><li>Experience with Agile practices such as user stories, continuous integration/testing, and backlog management</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul>Key Skills Required:<ul><li>Agile coaching and facilitation</li><li>Communication and stakeholder management</li><li>Problem-solving and adaptability</li><li>JIRA and Confluence proficiency</li></ul>Pay: $94,055.13 - $120,000.00 per yearExperience:<ul><li>Scrum: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Certified Scrum Master (Required)</li></ul>Security clearance:<ul><li>Top Secret (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
