Scrum Master

Job Description:

A growing professional services organization is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile software development initiatives. This role is responsible for guiding cross-functional teams in Agile best practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring effective collaboration between stakeholders and development teams.

The Scrum Master will play a key role in promoting continuous improvement, removing obstacles, and helping teams deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment. This position requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and experience working within structured development lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach teams on Agile methodologies and ensure adherence to Scrum principles
• Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, and user story development
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
• Utilize tools such as JIRA and Confluence to track progress and maintain documentation
• Ensure alignment with software development lifecycle processes and evolving requirements

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and software development lifecycle
• Experience with Agile practices such as user stories, continuous integration/testing, and backlog management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $94,055.13 - $120,000.00 per year
