This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.Full job descriptionThis is NOT a remote position.Responsibilities:- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing- Assign appropriate codes using, ICD-10, and DRG coding systems- Verify patient information and insurance coverage for billing purposes- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing discrepancies- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation and coding-Payment posting- Process claim appeals- Manage AR management and follow up- Patient collection calls- Various other duties as assigned-obtain approvals from insurance companiesRequirements:- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role- Proficient in medical coding using ICD-10, and DRG coding systems- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology- Familiarity with insurance guidelines and reimbursement processes- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing procedures- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCandidate should be passionate about the field they are working in, initiate and problem solve.Note: Certification in medical billing or coding is preferred but not required.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Position is in person and not a remote position.
