This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in young lives while fostering a supportive community atmosphere.Responsibilities<ul><li>Supervise children during after school hours, ensuring their safety at all times </li><li>Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, creativity, and social skills </li><li>Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive environment </li><li>Assist with homework help, tutoring, or educational projects to support academic growth </li><li>Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences </li><li>Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including first aid procedures when necessary </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to create inclusive programs that cater to children with special education needs or behavioral challenges</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare settings is highly preferred </li><li>Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages </li><li>Strong classroom management skills coupled with patience and empathy </li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or child behavior management are a plus </li><li>Ability to engage children through creative activities such as theater, sports coaching, or arts and crafts </li><li>Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members </li><li>A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth in a safe environment</li></ul>Join us to inspire young minds every day!
