This paid position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your leadership and childcare skills in a dynamic camp setting.Duties<ul><li>Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of camp activities including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor games to ensure an exciting experience for all participants</li><li>Maintain a safe environment by supervising children closely and implementing proper behavior management techniques</li><li>Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any medical or safety concerns following established protocols</li><li>Support children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance through tailored activities and compassionate guidance</li><li>Foster inclusive participation by encouraging teamwork, respect, and positive social interactions among campers</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress and any important updates</li><li>Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold camp policies</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or camp environments is highly preferred</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies</li><li>Certifications in first aid and CPR are strongly recommended; willingness to obtain these certifications is required if not already held</li><li>Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and respectful environment</li><li>Ability to adapt activities for children with diverse needs, including those in special education programs</li><li>Passion for working with kids and fostering their growth through engaging activities in a fun-filled atmosphere</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members</li></ul>Embark on an exciting summer adventure where your energy fuels unforgettable experiences!
