YMCA of the Northern Sky

<div>Work at our Fergus Falls location with school age children, Kindergarten through 6th grade.

As a School Age Childcare Staff, you will:
<ul><li>Guide the children through their daily after school routine: Welcome/Check-In, Snack Time, Homework Help, Physical Activity (Gym/Outside), Indoor Play, etc.
</li><li>Lead the children in a variety of activities, such as arts and crafts, science experiments, gym games, etc.
</li><li>Provide a healthy, emotional, social, intellectual, and physical environment that promotes active learning for each child in the program.
</li><li>Engage in positive staff-child and staff-parent interactions at all times. Maintain clear communication with the Program Managers.</li><li>
Be a professional role model for the children by presenting yourself in a confident, dignified manner.</li></ul><ul><li>
At least 16 years old</li><li>
And must also complete:
<ul><li>Within 90 days of hire: 15 hours of basic childcare training through Child Care Aware</li><li>
Within 90 days of hire: CPR/FA Certification for Adult, Child, Pediatrics</li></ul></li></ul>

Shifts Needed:

Monday through Friday: 1:00PM - 6:00PM
