School Age Childcare Staff

Work at our Fergus Falls location with school age children, Kindergarten through 6th grade.

As a School Age Childcare Staff, you will:

• Guide the children through their daily after school routine: Welcome/Check-In, Snack Time, Homework Help, Physical Activity (Gym/Outside), Indoor Play, etc.
• Lead the children in a variety of activities, such as arts and crafts, science experiments, gym games, etc.
• Provide a healthy, emotional, social, intellectual, and physical environment that promotes active learning for each child in the program.
• Engage in positive staff-child and staff-parent interactions at all times. Maintain clear communication with the Program Managers.
• Be a professional role model for the children by presenting yourself in a confident, dignified manner.

• At least 16 years old
• And must also complete:
  • Within 90 days of hire: 15 hours of basic childcare training through Child Care Aware
  • Within 90 days of hire: CPR/FA Certification for Adult, Child, Pediatrics

Monday through Friday: 1:00PM - 6:00PM
