YPCC is searching for its next Development Associate to play a pivotal role in collaborating with the Managing Artistic Director to lead and direct various aspects of our development efforts. The Development Associate is generally responsible for leading and directing all grant writing and reporting, annual fundraising appeals and campaigns, and donor stewardship. This requires close attention to detail and ability to meet important deadlines. YPCC offers this role with a flexible schedule with both office-based work in Cincinnati, Ohio, with the flexibility to work remotely.Key Areas of Responsibilities: <ul><li>Lead grant writing and reporting, including managing the grants calendar and drafting proposals and reports.</li><li>Create and manage the organization&rsquo;s fundraising calendar, donor segmentation, and content for appeals and communications.</li><li>Collaborate with the Managing Artistic Director on project budgets.</li><li>Oversee two annual fundraising appeals.</li><li>Manage relationships and communications with corporate, foundation, and individual donors.</li><li>Maintain accurate donor information in YPCC&rsquo;s CRM database, ensuring functionality of internal systems (e.g., automated acknowledgments, clean data).</li><li>Assist in securing season and cycle sponsorships as well as major gifts.</li><li>Collaborate with the Public Relations Associate on social media outreach for annual campaigns.</li><li>Organize the silent auction and fundraising activities for YPCC&rsquo;s annual Gala, in partnership with the Gala Committee and Development Task Force.</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Minimum Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent work experience required.</li><li>Administrative expertise with clerical responsibilities and data management.</li><li>Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and effective messages.</li><li>Strong organizational, time management skills, and ability to prioritize while managing multiple ongoing projects.</li><li>Proficiency in basic office technology, including Google Workplace, Google Drive, and Google Meets.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Previous experience working with a non-profit or arts organization.</li><li>Previous experience in grant writing, fundraising, or donor relations.</li><li>Prior successful work directly participating in or managing community funding campaigns.</li><li>Prior experience working with CRM databases.</li></ul>Time Commitment Requirements The scheduled work hours are generally flexible, with certain previously scheduled commitments, such as meetings and specific fundraising events. This position will generally require working 8-10 hours per week&ndash; a .25-time position.Compensation: Employment with YPCC is through an annual contract, subject to renewal. Beyond the concert stage, YPCC can be found singing with symphonies, delighting guests at galas, and kicking off special events throughout Cincinnati. The organization produces 5 concerts a year and has performed on stages with artists like Foreigner and Barry Manilow, at iconic Cincinnati venues like Music Hall and Riverbend.
