This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties and make a meaningful difference in patients&rsquo; lives through innovative mental health care.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and risk assessments.</li><li>Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.</li><li>Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy, medication management, and other interventions as appropriate.</li><li>Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.</li><li>Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatment progress.</li><li>Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies to promote recovery and resilience,</li><li>Proven experience working with behavioral health patients across age groups, including children and geriatrics.</li><li>Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications, psychopharmacology, and medication management protocols.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for seamless documentation.</li><li>Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, mental status exams, and physical examinations when necessary.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients about their care plans.</li><li>Experience with telehealth platforms to deliver remote mental health services efficiently.</li><li>Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and secure medical records management.</li><li>Willing to assit in the credentialing process</li></ul>Join us in delivering high-quality psychiatric care that transforms lives! You will work in a dynamic environment that values innovation, compassion, and professional growth, ensuring clients receive the highest quality mental health care through both in-person and telehealth modalities.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments, including intake interviews and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions.</li><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing psychosocial rehabilitation, case management, peer support, and supportive living</li><li>Experience with TennCare and behavioral health services.</li><li>Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety and stability.</li><li>Document all patient interactions meticulously in medical records while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism or chronic pain conditions.</li><li>Engage in clinical research activities when applicable to enhance treatment approaches and contribute to the advancement of behavioral health practices.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field; licensure or certification as required by state law (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT).</li><li>Participate in policy development and quality improvement activites.</li><li>Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques including applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral management, and addiction counseling.</li><li>Support agency credentialing and contracting effort.</li><li>Expertise in crisis intervention strategies and crisis management procedures; ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.</li><li>Experience delivering telehealth services using secure platforms; comfortable adapting therapy methods for virtual environments.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for conducting intake assessments, patient education, and collaborating with healthcare teams.</li><li>Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder; knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
