This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment while making a positive impact on oral health.Responsibilities<ul><li>Answer incoming calls promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.</li><li>Assist patients with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently.</li><li>Provide clear information about dental services, insurance policies, and office procedures using strong communication skills.</li><li>Collect and verify patient data accurately through data entry into the system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.</li><li>Use dental terminology appropriately when discussing dental procedures or patient concerns to ensure clarity.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of patient interactions and update appointment calendars regularly.</li><li>Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient flow and address urgent inquiries or issues as they arise.</li><li>Building a schedule and making recalls as well as reaching out to new patients</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively.</li><li>Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.</li><li>Strong computer skills with proficiency in data entry and familiarity with healthcare management software like Practice Web.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of dental terminology related to dentistry is beneficial but can be learned on the job.</li><li>Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.</li><li>Analysis skills to assess caller needs quickly and provide appropriate solutions or escalate as necessary.
