Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Assist patients with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Provide clear information about dental services, insurance policies, and office procedures using strong communication skills.
  • Collect and verify patient data accurately through data entry into the system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Use dental terminology appropriately when discussing dental procedures or patient concerns to ensure clarity.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient interactions and update appointment calendars regularly.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient flow and address urgent inquiries or issues as they arise.
  • Building a schedule and making recalls as well as reaching out to new patients

Qualifications

  • Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
  • Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in data entry and familiarity with healthcare management software like Practice Web.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology related to dentistry is beneficial but can be learned on the job.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
