Job Summary
Utility laborers will perform tasks involving physical labor on heavy highway, road, and bridge construction projects. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Flagging traffic passing near, in, or around work zones; control set-up and may assist other craft workers and perform other labor-related duties as instructed by supervisor.

Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Perform tasks involving physical labor on the project</li>
<li>Assist concrete, drainage, and retaining wall crews where needed</li>
<li>Load and unload material</li>
<li>Flagging traffic passing near, in, or around work zones</li>
<li>Control set-up</li>
<li>May operate hand and power tools</li>
<li>Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards</li>
<li>Perform work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind, etc.)</li>
<li>Adhere to all safety guidelines set forth in the company&rsquo;s safety program</li>
<li>Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling items up to 50 pounds</li>
<li>Perform other labor-related duties as instructed by the supervisor</li>

Required Skills &amp; Experience
<ul><li>At least 1-year heavy highway, road, concrete, form setting, or bridge construction laborer experience</li>
<li>Physical ability to perform assigned tasks (lifting to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, climbing, standing, etc.)</li>
<li>General labor skills</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools of all types</li>
<li>Knowledge of operating a variety of other equipment and instruments is a plus</li>
<li>Flagging and Traffic Control certification a plus</li>
<li>Previous flagging and traffic control experience</li>

Job Summary
The Dozer Operator will operate the tractor and blade to level the soil, move rock and debris to other locations on the job site, and scoop out the soil.
Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Equipment operation under the direction of the supervisor</li>
<li>Follow all required company and general safety rules, policies, and guidelines</li>
<li>Level the soil, move rock and debris to other locations on the job site, and scoop out soil</li>
<li>Perform excavation of lime, flex base, and general sub-grade operations</li>
<li>Recognize hazardous conditions and report to the supervisor</li>
<li>Work days, nights, and weekends as required</li>
<li>Communicate with others using verbal and non-verbal hand signals while operating equipment</li>
<li>Perform other construction-related duties as assigned by the supervisor</li>

Required Skills &amp; Experience
<ul><li>3 plus years&rsquo; dozer experience on heavy highway road construction projects</li>
<li>Previous experience with grade control systems preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of finishing roadways</li>
<li>Physical ability to perform assigned labor-related tasks (climbing ladders, climbing in and out of ditches, prolonged physical exertions, including standing. reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying)</li>
<li>Physical ability to work in various conditions with exposure to weather elements</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools (hammers, sledgehammers, pry bars, screwdrivers, etc.)</li>
<li>Provide own hand tools, hammer, pouch, level, 8&rdquo; crescent wrench, tape measure, etc., a plus</li>
<li>Knowledge of how to properly read and understand construction plans, sketches, and blueprints</li>
<li>Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed</li>
